FundRaising and Giving Criteria
Your fees for dining cover the cost of your meal, with any surplus kept by the committee for donating to local charities, causes and covering any administration costs. We have a criteria for our donations but endeavour to support local, tangible charities and causes that will make a difference.
There may be additional fundraising at certain events, this will be stated prior to the event.
First and foremost, Kingsmans is for its Members and we expect our Members to act accordingly. That means treating each other and everyone else with respect. It means acting with integrity and honesty.
A spirit of togetherness and supportiveness is encouraged. We want to create a fun and positive atmosphere that people from all walks of life feel comfortable with.
Kingsmans events, particularly our monthly dining club, are enjoyable events. We want you to have a good time.
Members will not tolerate offensive, prejudice, hateful or discriminatory behaviour and the Committee will investigate and a disciplinary procedure will be followed. We also believe in respecting each other’s politics and have no political affiliation.
The overwhelming majority of our events are SMART casual unless otherwise directed. We’re not going to send you home for wearing jeans (you might be fined), but please try to keep the Kingsmans’ standards up!
